e-CATALOGΓäó is a pair of stand alone applications that lets you create an "electronic" catalog of your products and distribute the catalog to your customers. Send your catalog out on disk, be able to e-mail it or even put it up on bulletin boards. Open your business up to a whole new world of customers.
If you have a catalog now then you have all of the information ready somewhere in a page layout program, Microsoft Word, PageMaker, Quark, whatever. Special effort was made in the design of this program so that you could just cut and paste both text and picture from your existing catalog in the page layout program directly into e-CATALOG.
Version 1.01 added the ability to change some of the field names and column headers so you can customize e-CATALOG to your business. Instead of "Item#" have "ISBN#", replace Product name and Mfg. with Title and Publisher, instantly e-CATALOG is now set up for book sellers. This version also allows items that do not appear on the price list but can be printed out for special instructions, dealer applications, information about your company, or even forms for custom orders where the buyer could specify a color, size and style.
Version 1.02 is an admission that you the end users are coming up with new ways to use e-CATALOG that we had never envisioned. For the sales persons on the road with their PowerBooks, e-CATALOG will now maintain PO histories and reprint individual POs. For the company that wants to put their catalog on disk in the hands of teachers there is the new payment choice of "Government/School P.O.". For the mail order gift catalog company the PO now accommodates both ship to and bill to addresses.

QwikBILLΓäó is an ultra simple invoicing / Bidding / Accounts Receivable program. It was design to allow small service firms, contractors, and other independent providers of services, such as consultants, a quick and easy method of keeping track of sales, bids and accounts receivable. No general ledger account numbers and no inventories. Just point and click billing.

To use your own custom letterhead create it first in a "Draw" program that can save as "PICT" files. When you are happy with your drawing just select it, copy it to the clipboard, open "QwikBILL", and Paste it into the Invoice and/or Statement box on the PICT letterhead window.

QwikMAILISTΓäó is a complete mail list manager with label printing that can access the customer information in the QwikBILL files. You can have it create a mailing list by items purchased, invoice date, zip code, etc. Five types of labels are supported including using a custom drawing as your background and label printer shipping labels. Note that "QwikMAILIST" can contain an entire database of different shipping labels and will use whichever one you have selected. $19
QwikBILLTIMEΓäó is a time billing program for people that do consulting. It maintains time-in, time-out and a database of the notes from each conversation. In addition, this program can create an invoice for the QwikBILL application. Invoices created by QwikBILLTIME are recorded in the QwikBILL files as "Invoices on Hold". Just open the QwikBILL program review (or edit) the invoices and print them as regular invoices. This automatically adds them to the accounts receivable. $29
QwikAUTOBILLΓäó is an auto billing program that allow you to store a list of recurring bills that must be invoiced to clients or rentors on a regular basis. You create an AutoBill for a client, just like a QwikBILL invoice, and assign it to a billing set. Once a month (or at any interval your choose) you tell QwikAUTOBILL to create invoices for the set. It will then go through and create QwikBILL invoices for each AutoBill in the set. This automatically adds them to the accounts receivable in QwikBILL. After the invoices are created you have the option of batch printing them. (You could also use this program for just batch printing regular QwikBILL produced invoices). Requires at least a 640x400 pixel monitor (PowerBook screen or larger). $49
TimeClock&SignOutΓäó (SK Time ClockΓäó) is a stand alone application that works like a sign in/sign out board. Helps keep track of who is where, etc. It also functions as a time clock allowing employees to clock in and out. There are reports and exports of tab delimited text files of the time clock file. The export will only send out those time clock records that have not been exported previously.
This little utility operates at four levels depending on the original password level assigned to an employee:
At the highest levels (4 &5) the employee can only look at the board and make changes in his own status.
The middle level (2 &3 ) allows changing another person's sign in/out status (such as the receptionist).
Levels 5-2 do not allow access to editing or exporting the time clock file.
Levels 1 is for professionals and allows time clock file reports, editing and export.
Level 0 is the only level where you can set up new employees, change password levels and get into Preferences.
Use the "More than one person may access time clock from a single computer" button in Preferences if you are going to specify that one computer is to be used for the time clock. The alternative is that only the person that originally started the program will be allowed to punch the time clock so there must be a copy of the program on all computers on the network. $19 per computer.

CD-METERΓäó - a CD-ROM Locked Program Sales Kit
The programs contained in the kit allow the preparation of the files for a CD-ROM in a "locked" format that can be unlocked with a simple phone call to the seller company. This allows a CD-ROM disk full of unlocked working and interactive demos as well as a folder containing the locked full working versions of the programs.
Now small software company cooperatives, large mail order operations, users groups, or even a single publisher can offer demos and programs for sale on CD-ROM at reasonable prices. To allow as many groups as possible to get into this type of distribution, pricing for the "CD-ROM Locked Program Sales Kit" is only $49 per CD-ROM master plus one percent of the selling price of programs sold (no per disk charge). This lets anyone get started for just the $49 for the kit. (A new kit is required for each CD-ROM master because coding keys are hard coded into the "CD-ROM Make" program.) The 1% royalty is not payable until you actually sell something.
The "CD-METER Kit" from CopperHead Software consists of three programs:

What It Does:
Bill-IT is an extremely fast integrated billing system for small businesses or organizations. Invoices which allow up to 60 lines, accounts receivable and automatic billing are key functions of this product. The billing screen looks much like an invoice and as you enter a customer number it automatically brings to the screen the customer name, billing information and discount levels, and the current balance due. It will also create files for direct import into the "QwikSHIP" UPS manifest program.
Bill-IT is ideal for a business that has less than 8,000 customers and 8,000 inventory items. Many accounting packages provide for limited invoicing functions but Bill-IT is designed to handle these functions in a much more sophisticated and automated fashion. An end-of-month summary is created for use with your check writing or accounting program.
Inventory record files are maintained in which you can record item number, descriptions, manufacturer and vendor information, cost , selling price, quantity on hand, reorder point, and the MTD and YTD sales of the item. Items need not be merchandise. Items can be hourly labor charges, fees, lessons, memberships, or subscriptions. Automatic billing is also a very important function of Bill-IT. You can set an item to be billed at intervals from daily to yearly.
All transactions are immediately recorded to disk for maximum safety. When you quit out of Bill-IT you have the option to immediately make compressed backup copies of your files on floppy or hard disks. The program provides a complete audit trail and information can be exported as text files for other uses. In additions to invoicing and accounts receivable, Bill-IT is able to handle back order, special orders, packing slips, and layaways.
Cashier reports and a variety of sales reports are automatically created at end-of day and end-of-month closing. Aging of accounts receivable reports and printed statements are also featured. Memo fields and customer codes allow your Bill-IT to also be used to create mailing lists and labels for customers that meet special criteria.
Bill-IT is a very inexpensive solution to your invoicing and accounts receivable billing needs. As your needs expand, you can move to ShopKeeper Plus or ShopKeeper Multi-User versions and work from the same historical information and transaction files that were created by Bill-IT.

CS LibraryΓäó
CS Library (CSL) is a program for the control of small libraries. It is set up to use and print bar coded patron ID cards and bar codes on the books for check in/out of materials. Bar code readers are optional since any information normally scanned in by a bar code reader may also be typed in.
A bar code label is created for each book and each patron. The patron label is usually then attached to the patron's library card. CSL uses inexpensive standard one inch continuous mailing labels for use with a dot matrix printer like the ImageWriter. For laser and inkjet printers CSL uses standard 3 across 10 down sheets of laser labels.
The system is set up so that it may be used in the traditional way, where the librarians check out every book, or it can be used as an honor system checkout. In the latter case the patron merely scans his or her library card bar code then scans the bar code on each book they are checking out. Because CS Library is set up for the honor system it will always open up directly to the "Check Out" window. Other librarian functions are then accessed from the Options menu with a password and cannot be used by the patron. (Use the password "mn" until you set up your own.)
There is a "Find" button on the Check Out window. Pushing this button brings up a search catalog window to help the patron locate a particular book. After a patron has entered their ID in the "Your ID" field they can hit the "List" button to get a complete list of all items that they have checked out. If you have a printer attached to the computer they can also print out this list.
Checking in returned books is a librarian function and is accomplished by merely scanning (or typing) the bar code label ID of the returned book. CS Library takes care of the rest of the record keeping. $49
